How we’ve helped others
Female, 55
“Being an old and not digitally influential person during COVID had very negative impacts on me, I felt so depressed and lost structures in my everyday life. I feel very fortunate that I was able to talk to a project worker and share my frustration and anxiety in a culture sensitive way without worrying about saying the wrong things...”
Female, 40
“I have been suffering from domestic violence for a while but dare not to stand up for myself, as I was worried that my son would get hurt….Thanks to this project, i am able to seek advice & support which helped me to escape from my former partner and build my life again.”
Our Funders
Thanks to the collaboration between Localgiving and Postcode Society Trust, our project "Advising and Support Centre" has been awarded a Magic Little Grant. The Postcode Society Trust, a grant-giving charity supported by players of the People's Postcode Lottery, has generously provided funding. As the UK's leading membership and support network for local charities and community groups, Localgiving facilitated the grant process. We are delighted to announce that our project has received £500, which contributes to keeping the "Advising and Support Services" open.
Visit the Magic Little Grants webpage for more information about how to apply for funding.
