Advice & Support
Centre
We provide free, confidential and independent advice and support covering a range of different areas such as: language, digital, family and well-being support.
Vietnamese Language
School
We provide weekly virtual classes for beginner and advanced beginner levels, offered to people of any age, with a desire to improve their Vietnamese speaking, listening and/or writing skills.
English Language
Classes
We also now offer English language classes focusing on social speaking and also engaging with others in a professional setting, taught by native English teachers.
Other Activities
VFP Luncheon Club
We provide Vietnamese members and local residents with an opportunity to reconnect with old friends and forge new friendships in a warm, welcoming environment—all while enjoying a delicious, nutritious meal.
Beyond this, the project opens doors to community volunteering, offering support and companionship to older individuals who may be feeling lonely or socially isolated.
Hate Crime Reporting ‘On Your Side’
If you encounter racism or hate directed at you or somebody else who is or is assumed to be East and Southeast Asian, we're here to listen, offer support, and, if you want us to, tell others what has happened.
Whether you want to find local counseling services or are worried about what would happen if you decided to report to the police, or just want to talk to somebody who is on your side, our trained Helpline Operators and Support Workers are here for you.
Vietnamese Culture Online Sessions
Our program explores specific themes each week to help you understand Vietnamese culture without imposing 'dos' and 'don'ts.' We offer explanations for common behaviors, enabling you to make informed choices in your interactions. This is an experimental program that evolves based on participants' questions and experiences. Your input during sessions enhances everyone's understanding.
